IEI's MLAN-1000 Industrial Network Interface Card is a high-performance 2 or 4 (optional) NIC with Wake-On-LAN (WOL). It utilizes INTEL 82540EM Gigabit Ethernet Controllers, which are single, compact components with integrated Gigabit Ethernet MAC and PHY layer functions, to deliver 10/100/1000Mbps connection speeds. MLAN-1000DBP provides a "bypass" function to make the Ethernet cables into two LAN ports perform as a single cable. In this case, the card just works as a "switch card" to route the signal from one port to another port.
