EXT-5800 SERIES is an ETX-form factor CPU module. With its small size and four IO connectors, the ETX CPU module can be easily and securely mounted on to a customized baseboard or ICP’s ETX development board. It supports the full functions of an AT & ATX-compatible industrial computer on a single board. EXT-5800 SERIES is equipped with a low-power consumption and high performance Transmeta TM5800 processor on board. It also contains an SDRAM SODIMM socket that can support up to 512MB memory. EXT-5800 SERIES ETX-form factor specification provides four connectors. Connector X1 includes PCI-Bus, USB, and Audio signals. Connector X2 includes ISA Bus signals. Connector X3 includes VGA, LCD, Video, COM1, COM2, LPT/Floppy, IrDA, Mouse, and Keyboard signals. Connector X4 includes IDE1, IDE2, and miscellaneous signals. VGA chip built-in SVGA/LCD display controller supports both CRT and LCD display simultaneously. It supports LCD screen resolutions of up to 1024x768 and CRT resolutions of up to 1280x1024, 256 colors @ 60 Hz. It also provides LVDS interface for long distance LCD panel signal transmission. The display type is configured by system BIOS utility. The Flash ROM contains both system BIOS and the VGA BIOS. Reprogramming Flash ROM can do modifications.
